Brief Introduction to HPEAIE

Hunan Provincial Education Association for International Exchange (HPEAIE) is a non-profit organization for educational exchanges with foreign countries in the education sector of Hunan Province. It was established in the early 1990s and has been audited and registered with the Civil Administration Department of Hunan Province. The Association is under the supervision of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education and accepts the guidance of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE).

    The member units of the Association cover Hunan universities, high schools, junior high schools, primary schools, and educational institutions. The main tasks and functions of the Association are to follow the principles of equality, friendship, cooperation, and win-win results, carry out non-official educational international exchanges and cooperation under the leadership of the Provincial Department of Education, and undertake educational international cooperation projects entrusted by the Provincial Department of Education and the China Education Association for International Exchange.

The specific functions of the association include extensive exchanges and cooperation with domestic and foreign educational and scientific research institutions, academic groups, and enterprises and foundations that are enthusiastic about education. It organizes foreign teachers to teach in Hunan, arranges teachers to teach or study abroad, organizes foreign teachers and students to visit Hunan, undertakes the "National Training Plan", organizes overseas internships and exchanges for college students, organizes high school exchange programs, provides self-financed study abroad services, and promotes international exchanges for students by organizing them to participate in competitions, summer (winter) camps, study tours, and other activities abroad. The association also assists various group members in carrying out international exchange activities, and fulfills other tasks entrusted by the association's constitution.

Since its establishment, HPEAIE has been committed to promoting the opening up and international exchange of education in Hunan Province. Under the leadership and guidance of the Provincial Department of Education, the Association has actively fulfilled its functions and responsibilities, played an organizational and leading role, and achieved a series of progress and results. It has conscientiously completed various tasks entrusted by the China Education Association for International Exchange and the Provincial Department of Education. The Association has built a platform for educational exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and other countries in the world, and promoted the internationalization process of Hunan education.

In its future work, HPEAIE will take a higher position, remain consistent with the overall work of the Party and the state, and actively serve the construction of an education strong province. The Association will fully utilize its own advantages, participate in and assist the various tasks entrusted by the China Education Association for International Exchange and the Provincial Department of Education. At the same time, the Association will create more projects with brand effects on the basis of standardized development, adjust and improve work strategies from time to time to adapt to changes in the current domestic and international environment, and strengthen its own construction, enhancing its governance capacity and service capacity. Strengthen professional team building, build an efficient work team, and continuously improve the management level and service ability of educational international exchange.
   The Association has played an important role in promoting the opening up of education in Hunan Province. Since its establishment, it has continuously carried out folk international exchanges and cooperation in education, making positive contributions to the opening up of Hunan Province's education. In the new historical period, the work of the Association is moving towards higher and newer goals, continuously promoting the development of Hunan's educational international exchange cause.
